Checkbox Olympics, with its domain checkbox.toys is a puzzle website created by Tim Holman as a part of toms.toys collection in November 2021. It is designed for players to click on all the checkboxes in the stage to finish and to see how fast they are. The website is under development.[1]
Gameplay[]
In the gameplay of the puzzle, which is a single-player game, a player has to click on all of the checkboxes until all boxes are checked. Once all stages are completed, the review will be shown at the main page with the score and times. As of 2024, there is only one season on the website:
Season 1[]
There are 5 stages of season 1:
- Scale - All checkboxes grow, shrink, and repeat.
- Catch - If a checkbox is clicked, the next checkbox will move automatically.
- ZigZag - A group of checkboxes is shaped like a zigzag.
- Wave - A line of checkboxes moves like a wave.
- Sprint - A normal line of checkboxes.
History[]
It was originally created by Tim Holman as his project in 2021, along with Checkbox Race!. He shared his video showcasing his project on YouTube,[2] as well as its original domain, checkboxolympics.com. On January 25th, 2023, the new domain was registered, which replaced the original domain that is now defunct[3], and the website was modified, and its first season, Season 1, was launched after the new domain went public.
